so I have a 2019 S3 which does not have paddle shifters and I would really like them on there.
I have watched videos of folks taking their wheel apart and showing how they are fitted but they all seem to do this on wheels that already have the shifters fitted.
So my question is , if I remove the air bag and the controls from the wheel will I find empty sockets there ready to plug shifters in or would I need to buy a different wheel control panel., and probably have to program something on the car ?
Thanks !

Be careful is all I can say. I downloaded an app thru the obd11 scan tool. Which is Audi approved apparently. Well it was supposed to make my lights do pretty patterns when I turned the car on and off. It set the alarm and horn off instead. Which required manually resetting all the values id changed by installing the app. But before I could do that my windscreen wipers stopped working for a day.
I also upgraded my paddle shifters to bigger ones. But they don’t work properly. Changes up fine. Wont change down till almost stationary. So may not be worth the investment
