- What I Drive
- 2016 Viper Green S3
It has been a while since I actually cared about the car I was driving. Winter time is really making it difficult to keep the car clean. How are you guys dealing with the winter time snow/salt and dirt? Or are you just storing the car?
I'm thinking about signing up for a deal at a local touchless carwash. Doesn't seem like a bad deal around $20-$30 per month for 1 wash per day not tied to a car. Could rinse my car off every night before putting it in the garage or the whole family could use it.
Still on the fence about how I feel about even a touchless carwash but the salt seems worse to leave on the car.
It wouldn't have been a problem when I was younger I would just store cars keeping them pristine and driving junk in any kind of bad weather. I've changed that mentality and I'm tired of giving the next owner a brand new car after paying all that money and not really enjoying it.
I think that's one of the main reasons I selected the S3 it's really great at everything. So I can enjoy it in any weather, going to work or ripping through some mountain roads.
I can't believe how many cars I've owned where I never wore out a set of brakes or tires.
