What other cars have you had and how do they compare to the S3?

Hey folks, so I have a had a few cars that “could” stack up to the S3 but IMO the S3 is the best drivers car I’ve had to date. I’ve only had it for a few months but it still surprises me when I punch it. It handles amazingly and the technology in it is amazing! It’s just feels so sturdy and stable.

13’ Charge SRT8 - this car was an absolute beast and a lot of fun to drive. The drawbacks for me was it’s size and practicality. It was effectively unusable 3-4 months out of the year thanks to the New England winters.

‘09 G37XS - this would be a better comparison for me to the S3. It was a lot of fun and fast. I’m not a huge fan of the newer body style plus Infiniti nerfed their exhaust notes in recent years. I recall being able to hear an Infiniti coming way before you saw it. Now it sounds like an Altima.

I had a Jag XKR 2011 and I'm sorry to say with 5.0litres and 2 superchargers and a lot of fine leather and walnut there's no competition

Hoping by the time I finish my S3 8P build (race car) I should beat the jag by about 10% per lap

I would say it has to be my M3. I would definitely buy another M. Just something about an E46 M3 that's so much fun.
All around car though the S3 hands down. Interior as well the M seemed dated from the first day I purchased it.

Thanks for sharing! That is one of my primary issues with BMW, their interiors are always dated. From the inside you wouldn’t know if it’s a 1997 or 2007.

Yeah I wish Audi didn't stop the round air vents. The newer models look just like any other car now.

Let me add my first Audi. This TT made me look differently at Audi It has to be in the top 3 of anything I've owned.
So much fun. Don't get me wrong it was a POS and the dealer had it more then I did but boy was it fun to drive

No, I do not have the sport seats. They do look great though! I bought mine used so not technically an option for me.
