Sound enhancing resonator pipe

Hey folks:

Just had this pipe installed by my local dealer. Love the "extra" sound now that the exhaust makes under hard throttle and during the downshifts. This is the way the car should have sounded.

have my '16 about 2 weeks now and like the extra sound.
it's actually the way it should have come standard from the factory for an S model as you stated.
my car was factory ordered and installed at the port when it arrived,
so besides the brief time I spent test driving the dealers S3 I really have no real experience with driving without it.
A bit of a rip off for what it is to be honest, but a much cheaper alternative to the off the wall prices of the aftermarket exhausts !!!

I've had my '16 since Feb and was in the fence on getting this pipe.

Stock is quite quiet but with this pipe it sounds much more proper to the "S" name. Loving it!

I wonder how much longer it will take the acoustic engineers to come up with an active system that can modify the exhaust note. With everything thing else you can do with the flick of a switch in our cars, it's too bad you can't change the exhaust note to that of an inline six, V8, or V12 instead of just making it sound like a louder tractor.
