S3 gearbox

Hi all just joined the group so first of all hello, I have a 2007 s3 6 speed box, it will not go into any gear what so ever, are they prone to this?

Does it happen often or once in awhile? Have you had your clutch checked?

Hi mate, nope it just won't go into any gear what so ever now, it was a little stiff before, really not sure what it could be, how much is a gearbox rebuild if its worst case scenario

Check the clutch first, replacing the clutch will probably set you back $1k or more depending on the cost of the parts.
