- Golf R - 2019Mk7.5 - 2.0
My son purchased a 2019 Golf R last fall from a Nissan dealer in the NYC area. The car appears to be in good condition and drives very well. However, he noticed problems in getting into gear from neutral to first, too quickly will grind the gears; second into 3rd and down shifting from 4th to 3rd will grind the gears. 4th to 5th and 6th are fine. The car has only done only 40,000 miles and has had a Stage 1 ECCU tune.
This is causing him great concern, especially since the car is now out of warranty. Does anyone have any comments as to what the issue might be and a possible fix?
