New to the Audi world!

Hi everyone my name is Francisco and I’m from Richmond,CA. last weekend got my first Audi ever, 2017 s3 sedan and I have to say I love the car already, so that being said I’d love to have some feedback back from you guys about maintenance and things that I should be aware, I was going for the S4 but I really didn’t like what I read on internet about that model, also I’m thinking to start dropping the car on some lowering springs?

Welcome Francisco, most of the maintenance is pretty standard with the exception of the very low interval Haldex service in the rear of the car. You really can't let the fluid change go for 100k miles like in standard rears and should change the Haldex fluid every 20k miles or so and clean the screen. It's fairly simple though a 15-20min job draining and filling and cleaning the screen on the pump. The transmission fluid and filter change is also quite low at 40k. All cheap services if you do them yourself.

As for the springs I couldn't tell you I'm standard height with the bad roads we have here in PA.

The car is a blast and I've had zero issues with my 2016 nothing like my first Audi which was a first gen TT.

Thanks for the reply. Currently the car has 38k miles so I’ll keep eye on that! I so want to go lower with the suspension but same, streets over here not so great :/
