just saw this thread.
its all about how the haldex filter screen gets clogged up even with low mileage it can get nasty.

have you guys clean out your filters yet?

Awesome find, looks pretty easy. I might just take it to a local shop and get this done instead of at the dealer. I have 26k on the odo already.

this seems to be a normal procedure with the s3. its part of the maintenance routine in audi's guidelines.

I have 15k on my S I'll be doing this in the spring when i hit 20k. Haldex maintenance looks easier than replacing a light bulb in my wife's Cadillac.
Nothing like removing the entire front end to replace a light bulb.

I've read that in some new cars you can even replace the headlight bulb as it's fixed to the housing.

omg. if the maker does that ill avoid that brand of car right off the bat.
